Rosewood Funeral Home discusses Grief

Grief is a good thing.   That sounds odd, but grief is necessary when we have loss.  We have all read about the stages of Grief, but what we should each remember is that our grief is as individual as we are.  The process of grieving is not on a timeline, it could be spherical.  It just feels like it last forever, but it doesn't.  Day breaks, always after the darkness.

I ready today while on Sympathy Gifts website ( I am a Chelsea Hanson fan)
 -
She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.  It's from Proverbs.

While we may think this tragedy will kill us, we will learn something about our reservoir of untapped strength.  This strength, until this point in time, has been unknown to us.  This is a strength that allowed us to survive at the worst moment of our lives.   This strength will serve us through the rest of our lives.  We will know... without a doubt that we faced the worst, survived and continued to live.

We have lived through the worst fear, which can now make us fearless.   The tragedy did not kill us, but gave us freedom from fear.

Loss made us strong.

Are you not feeling strong, your funeral professionals can offer support and referrals to people who can help.
